The objective of our wireless audits is to identify refunds/credits and, more importantly, cost-savings opportunities. Our experience has shown that the majority of our value-added service for wireless billing is cost-savings recommendations. Billing credits and refunds will be secondary because vendor contracts typically limit the refund period to 6 months or less.

Our wireless optimization goals include:

• Providing recommendations for reducing ongoing monthly costs
• Implementing agreed upon recommendations
• Reducing monthly cost per device as quickly as possible in order to avoid unnecessary spending
• Identifying vendor over-billing errors, negotiating refunds, and correcting billing errors
• Minimizing the time it takes for our clients to manage and pay invoices, including possible consolidation of billing

Wireless audits are not as time consuming as land-line audits, and we are able to submit vendor claims and cost-savings recommendations within 2 months of receiving portal access to billing. If billing anomalies are discovered and found to be non-compliant with existing client contracts, immediate action is taken by Shaheen. These errors are investigated, drafted into written claims. Any discrepancies with respect to inventory will also be documented and validated with the carrier through written claims. Shaheen will pursue every carrier billing credit to completion and will make sure that billing errors are removed from future billing, and future savings are achieved.
